Obituary

Concord

Jane Taylor Keller Black, age 70, of Concord, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Atrium Health – North East. Born in Cabarrus County on October 26, 1949, she was the daughter of the late B. P. Keller and the late Minnie Taylor Keller.

Jane was a graduate of A. L. Brown High School and attended nursing school at Rowan Technical College. She was a long time member of Centerview Baptist Church where she sang God’s praises with her beautiful voice.

She leaves behind her son, Jason Black of Concord; her daughter Ashley Black (Kerry) Basinger of Salisbury; her former husband, Phil Black of Indian Trail; two sisters, Terry (Wayne) James of Kannapolis and Ann Rodman of Kannapolis; her three granddaughters, Kaitlyn, Ava and Emily Basinger; one nephew and two nieces.

Visitation will be Friday, February 7, 2020 at Centerview Baptist Church, 415 Walter Street, Kannapolis, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. Memorial service immediately following officiated by Pastor Willie Rash.
