William Wayne Chandler, Sr. age 75 passed away February 11, 2023. He was born in Albemarle, NC January 14, 1949 to the late Clarence and Pearline Chandler.
William leaves behind son, William “Chip” and wife Mary Chandler; daughter, Cassandra Chandler; granddaughters, Jessica McGarity, Autumn Chandler, and Rebecca Poole; grandsons, Donald Poole, Jr., Logan Green, and William Lee Chandler.
A Celebration of Life with full military honors provided by Cabarrus County Veterans Honor Guard and the Army National Honor Guard will be Saturday, February 18, 2023. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm with service beginning at 1:00 pm.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Chandler
William proudly served his country in the US Army. Later in life he began a career in selling insurance. He enjoyed storytelling, playing checkers and poker and also, he loved to go fishing.
Cabarrus Funeral Cremation & Cemetery is serving the Chandler family.
